ADEA Incubator Program

The ADEA Incubator Pilot is designed to help ADEA members grow and refine their social impact projects. This program supports ADEA members in connecting their projects to the broader development goals in various African countries. Our project leaders, despite their passion and expertise, often have little experience in nonprofit development. This pilot program is designed to bridge that gap helping our members turn their social impact projects into successful and sustainable initiatives.

Key Components of the Program:

  1. Curated Curriculum: Project leaders receive essential background materials. These resources help them understand the basics of nonprofit management and international development.

  2. Coaching and Mentorship: Project leaders get both group and one-on-one coaching from experienced coaches. The mentors offer guidance in specific skills like program design and delivery, monitoring and evaluation, organizational and leadership development and fundraising.

  3. Fundraising Gala: The program culminates in a presentation and fundraising event. This is a chance for project leaders to present their visions and plans to potential donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
